FormerTaekwondo practitioner Wu Yiu is decidedly down in the dumps. She should be celebrating her seventh wedding anniversary but discovering her husband cheating on her, killed the mood. She files for divorce, only to have the judge award all their assets and sole custody of their child to her now ex-husband. Yiu resolves to launch an appeal to regain custody. But that requires money she no longer has. Falling back on her martial arts training should make finding a job easier. Hired by a security firm as a bodyguard, her initial assignment proves to be a challenging one. She is assigned to protect the fabulously wealthy, distractingly handsome, and quite ruthless man known as Marquis. Never short on enemies, danger awaits at every turn. Keeping Marquis alive requires her to put her brain and body on the line. Despite Marquis’ many quirks, underneath hides a softer side.
