Win, Game and Dear find themselves drawn back into the world they tried to leave behind. Under the command of Ae, a powerful local politician whose ambitions straddle the spiritual and the corrupt, they are forced to take part in a new “Mega Merit Project.” Ae’s scheme transforms Nong Khal Temple into what she calls a “merit bridge,” a massive temple redevelopment designed to attract vast donations, serving as a front for large-scale money laundering.
